F. A. Davis Company Makes a $1,000 Donation to the Foundation for Physical Therapy
This fund raising effort was part of a major membership campaign for DavisPTnetwork - F. A. Davis's Web site for physical therapy professionals.

Davis Company's comprehensive online continuing education information resource and social networking Web site for physical therapy professionals - DavisPTnetwork - joined with the Foundation for Physical Therapy] to help raise money for physical therapy research. In recognition of all new DavisPTnetwork members who signed up during the 3-month membership campaign drive, F. A. Davis has made a donation of $1,000 to the Foundation for Physical Therapy. There is no cost to join DavisPTnetwork, and currently there are over 2,600 members.

The mission of the Foundation for Physical Therapy the principal and only nationwide physical therapy foundation-is to fund research that supports the development of evidence-based physical therapist practice, enhance the quality of physical therapist services for patients and clients, and increase the number of physical therapist researchers. The Foundation was established in 1979 as a national, independent, nonprofit corporation to support the physical therapy profession's research needs in three areas: scientific research, clinical research, and health services research.
