Exploration Continues at Don Luis & La Colorada-Esmeralda, Sonora - September 24, 2011
We are seeking permission from several ranchers to do trenching and drilling on the La Colorada-Esmeralda Property. In the coming week an application will be submitted to the governmental environment-access-permission granting SEMARNAT.
- (1888PressRelease) September 27, 2011 - Our reverse circulation rig is waiting for a part called an "interchange"; the original one has cracked and has to be replaced. We have ordered two so we will not have this kind of down time again. The parts from Canada are currently in Guadalajara, Mexico, and we have a Customs Broker arranging to have them delivered. We should receive the parts by Tuesday. Reconnaissance drilling then will resume on the West and Central Zones of Rome's Don Luis Silver-Gold-Tungsten Greisen-Porphyry Property. A bulldozer has been hired to fill in all trenches made on the Don Louis Property (left picture). In addition, several tracks for future drilling on the West Zone are being cut now to save the remobilization costs of bringing the bulldozer back later to do this. Buffal grass seed will be spread on the disturbed ground around the old trenches. This reseeding will aid the local ranchers in the future, and will help us immeasurably in future access negotiations with them.

When these two items are in place we can start drilling for La Colorada-Esmeralda gold! The picture on the right, below, (or on our website) shows golden promise over Rome's La Colorada Property.
Next week we will to be drilling again. The extra tracks for the drill on the West Zone at Don Luis should be completed. And most of the trenches over all the Don Luis Property should be backfilled. With respect to the La Colorada-Esmeralda Property, the application to SEMARNAT will be submitted. Godwin will be returning to Vancouver near the end of the week.
