  • (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2019 - Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Rajiv Gandhi College for Engineering & Research organized an an interactive session on the topic, “Exposure to Recent Innovative Technologies in the field of Engineering ", under Skill Development Program. The Expert speaker for the session was Mr. Kumud Ranjan, Research Scientist, Temasek Lab, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Mr Ranjan formerly worked with DRDO as a scientist in Solid State Physics Lab, Delhi. The expert speaker delivered an expert talk on, “Exposure to Recent Innovative Technologies in the field of Engineering”.

    The program was scheduled on 1st March 2019. He emphasized on implementing different innovative methods to solve the day to day problems. He also put light on the different recent technologies adopted in various Universities of Singapore and Abroad. He encouraged the students to deal with recent technologies in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning etc. The main objective of the Program was to make the students aware about the different technologies and the areas where it can be implemented. An interaction session with the faculties was also called upon in order to give an exposure of different areas of research in the current scenario.

    On this occasion Dr. Manali Kshirsagar motivated the students to adopt innovative methods, and enhance their technical knowledge making a successful journey from ideation to start-up and to establishment.

    There was a great enthusiasm among the students and all were looking highly spirited. Mrs. S. S. Katre, ED Cell In-charge, along with all the department coordinators worked hard to make the program a grand success. Total 160 students of different streams attended this interactive program.
