Expansion of Organic Garage Retail and Warehousing Facilitated by JustFoodERP Software and Services
Toronto, Ontario based, family-run organic and all-natural food retailer, Organic Garage, has selected JustFoodERP as its technology partner to help manage expansion to their new store and a new centralized distribution centre, both to be opened by Fall 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) June 21, 2013 - MISSISSAUGA, ON - JustFoodERP software and services have been selected by Organic Garage, a Toronto, Ontario based organic food retailer in the midst of tripling their retail footprint and expanding warehousing capacity. The family run business, which has operated a store out of Oakville, Ontario since 2006, is adding a location in Vaughan and a new centralized distribution centre in Toronto. A third retail location is under development in Toronto.
"This expansion means we need to manage our inventory differently," says Matt Lurie, President, Organic Garage. "Our ability to keep growing as a business will be facilitated by JustFoodERP software which reflects food industry best practices."
Organic Garage's first phase of JustFoodERP implementation will include purchasing, inventory management, warehouse management, reporting and quality modules, as well as integration of JustFoodERP to their existing QuickBooks GL system. The WMS component will allow selected employees at each location to request inventory replenishment from the Organic Garage warehouse and, using a combination of browser screen and handheld scanner, initiate an inventory transfer request in JustFoodERP by going into the requisition worksheet.
