Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) August 05, 2013 - Lana Calloway, CEO of Exhibit Resources, a full-service exhibit design and production agency, has announced that the firm will host We've Got the Power to celebrate the installation of their rooftop photovoltaic system on Friday, August 16 at 9:00am. The event will be held in the company's showroom space located at 7521 Exhibit Court in Raleigh, near Brier Creek. The event is open to the local business community.

Attendees of the event will be welcomed with a light breakfast, networking and giveaways as Exhibit Resources celebrates their dedication to sustainability through the completion of their new rooftop solar panel project. The dedication event will include networking with members of the local business and political communities. All attendees will also qualify to win a solar iPad/iPhone charger.

Calloway learned about the benefits and paybacks of solar power while attending a local B Corp meeting in 2012. Exhibit Resources worked with Argand Energy Solutions to create the photovoltaic (PV) system mounted on the roof of Exhibit Resources. This installation, as well as the company's recent B Corp certification, reflects Exhibit Resources commitment to sustainability, and the partnership with Argand to create a renewable energy source is another step towards Exhibit Resources' mission of environmental stewardship

Exhibit Resources' building infrastructure and roof orientation provided for an ideal host site. The system will produce approximately 598,300 kWh of AC power and eliminate 930,600 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions per year. The electricity generated by the panels will be metered and supplied to the grid through Duke Energy's distribution system through 2028 and beyond. After twenty years, Exhibit Resources will have the option of full ownership and use of the PV system to power their building.
