EXHEAT Expands Manufacturing Facilities in UK
UK electric heater manufacturer completes expansion of its facilities, increasing its floor space available for manufacture from 20,000 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft.
- (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2014 - EXHEAT Ltd, one of the world's leaders in the design and manufacture of electric heaters and associated control systems for Hazardous Area equipment, is pleased to announce that it has significantly expanded its UK manufacturing facility.
Located adjacent to the existing EXHEAT headquarters, the recently completed expansion increases the floor space available for manufacture from 20,000 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft. The new facility will be used for control panel assembly in a clean environment, laid out under lean manufacturing principles. The existing facility will be dedicated to heater assembly operations and contains dedicated training room facilities for internal and external training. This facility will be subject to further capital investment to ensure EXHEAT remains at the forefront of efficiency and technology.
Since its inception in 1991, EXHEAT has manufactured all of its heaters locally within its headquarters in Norfolk (UK), to provide only high quality and precision engineered products for its customers. The new building is an added testament to the company's dedication to provide quality electrical heating systems and is a sign of EXHEAT's continued growth in the industry.
In line with EXHEAT's expansion, the business' sister companies have recently introduced new services and facilities.
EXHEAT Industrial introduced a Next Day delivery and collection service for selected standard heaters earlier this year. EX Services, our dedicated after sales company, has established additional facilities to accommodate customer requirements and provide an even better service.
