Leading international executive search firm TRANSEARCH International is pleased to announce that Bruno Serey and Jean-François Monteil recently joined the TRANSEARCH office in Paris as Co-Managing Partners.
- (1888PressRelease) November 18, 2011 - Bruno Serey and Jean-François Monteil recently joined the TRANSEARCH office in Paris as Co-Managing Partners.
As executive search professional, Bruno started with Spencer Stuart in 2005 before joining TRANSEARCH in 2011. In the last 6 years, Bruno has led close to 100 searches in various technology areas both in equipment (aerospace, semiconductors, electronics…) and services (telecommunications, IT…). Prior to search, Bruno brings in 18 years of experience in the technology sector as executive in multinational and private equity portfolio companies as well as management consultant.
He started his career as IT program director for the French Navy before joining McKinsey as engagement manager, working in London and Paris for technology multinationals. After that, he worked 9 years with French industry multinationals, during which he ran the Asia Pacific subsidiary of Thales Airsystems (a global leader in Air Traffic Control Systems) and Desamais Distribution (an online DYI distribution company) in France. Bruno has lived 15 years overseas (in the UK, Australia, USA and Italy) and is fluent in English and Italian.
Jean François has 23 years international professional experience including 15 years of successful track-record in cross-border recruitment out of Paris and London. He has dealt with over 400 searches in most sectors within the financial services industry from Global Banking & Markets (CIB/M&A/DCM, ECM, Equities, Rates, Commodities) to Asset Management, Private Banking, Public Finance & Institutional Banking, Consumer Finance, Private Equity, PFS, Investor Services. He has executed a number of "C" level searches including CEO,CFO,CTO,CRO, CIO, HR searches in a variety of other economic sectors.
Prior to search, his previous professional experience was in banking and asset management, covering international institutional clients in Europe within various marketing support and international institutional sales positions with Union Européenne de CIC and Banque Indosuez. Jean-François started his search career in London with Armstrong International executing major visible searches across the Globe. Since then, he has held several practice and geographic management positions with Whitehead Mann and AT Kearney Executive Search where he was Managing Partner for France and Vice-President of the Financial Services Practice and was lately President of Alexander Hughes France and Head of their EMEA Financial Services Sector of Excellence. Jean-François has lived in the UK, France, Luxembourg, Chile and Switzerland. He holds a Master's Degree from the London School of Economics and a post-graduate degree in Political Science.
Jean-François and Bruno have furthermore both been asked by the TRANSEARCH Board to play important roles in the governance of TRANSEARCH International in addition to their local role. Jean-François will lead the Financial Services Practice globally and Bruno has been appointed as Board and Global Council Member.
