Excellence in Education and Dedicated Management Proves to be a Winning Pair
Powerstone Property Management Inc., a full-service Orange County, California based property management firm, announced today that it is the recipient of two prestigious Vision Awards from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM).
- (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2019 - During the 2019 Law Seminar, Powerstone won the Client Education Award and team member Victoria York won the Rising Star Award. Victoria Hall was also nominated for the Rising Star Award, and Wendy Cross was nominated for the Educational Excellence Award and the Path to Professionalism Award. Additionally, Powerstone was nominated for the Inspirational Culture Award and Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
Powerstone works diligently to be an innovator and educator in the homeowners association industry and was honored to receive the Client Education Award. With the ever-changing laws that govern the HOA industry, it is imperative that managers are kept up to date and our clients are provided with the opportunity for continuing education. Education is, and will always remain, a top priority. While it is important for the volunteer Board members to be current on their knowledge of the laws pertaining to homeowners associations, it is equally important to attain an all-encompassing education as it relates to community governance. Powerstone has provided complimentary Board Member Boot Camps for several years and, due to the increased interest, the number of classes and subjects offered has doubled in 2019.
“Educating our clients is one of our cornerstone initiatives at Powerstone,” states Rene Decker, CEO. “Our Boards of Directors are elected by their fellow homeowners to ensure that both the aesthetics and the financial health of their communities are being well-preserved. It is Powerstone’s duty to provide the Board members with the proper tools to make their communities successful.”
The Rising Star Award is given to a manager with less than two years’ experience who has exhibited exceptional management skills and exceeds all expectations from her clients by facing and conquering challenges head on. “Powerstone is beyond proud that two of our managers were recognized by CACM as candidates for the Rising Star Award,” states Kendrah Kay, Vice President of Community Management. “Our company strives to educate and equip our managers to provide stellar service from the first day with their communities. We want to congratulate Victoria York for being the recipient of the Rising Star Award for her incredible work ethic and determination to go above and beyond for her clients.”
Powerstone congratulates all the managers, management companies and business partners who were nominated and won awards. We are proud to serve alongside our industry partners.
