Evolver Music Launches New Music Licensing Venture
Evolver Music announces launch of their music licensing and publishing catalog.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) December 05, 2014 - Evolver Music, led by acclaimed music producer Betty Moon, has announced the launch of their new music licensing and publishing division. Evolver has an established history as being the record label for Moon's music over many years. Through her team's early efforts, they have previously secured licenses in iconic programming such as Dexter, Californiacation and The Walking Dead.
Moon and Evolver's Managing Director Andy Villalpando hand-selected a team of composers to develop a quality catalog of diverse music for licensing in film and television. Joining Evolver as composers are long-time industry musicians Jack Standen, Jason Ganberg and Owen Barry. Collectively these writers have had placements in television shows such as MTV's The Hills, Fox's Surviving Jack and movies such as Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In addition, Evolver offers supervisors and production companies al-a-carte custom music upon request.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2011 and launching Evolver, Moon has played countless shows at high profile venues and events such as the Sunset Strip Music Festival, and has received airplay on iconic L.A. radio station KROQ 106.7. Her latest album Amourphous has been one of Moon's best selling records to date, garnering press coverage from tastemaker outlets such as ARTISTdirect, Buzznet, Vents, and more.
