everjobs appoints CEO for Asia region
Gijs Verheijke, new CEO at everjobs Asia.

Verheijke will be in charge of leading day-to-day management decisions as well as giving strategic guidance to drive the business growth in Cambodia, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Originally from the Netherlands, Verheijke joins everjobs regional team in Asia with a consolidated experience both in the industry and the company itself. He started as Founder and Managing Director at everjobs Bangladesh, after which he moved to Yangon to lead the successful monetization and professionalization of the business in Myanmar, current leader in the market.
Prior to his time at everjobs, Gijs had already co-founded an online platform providing CV optimization and cover letter workshops. He also spent 2.5 years as an investment banker and private equity investor in Amsterdam.
With his broad background, Gijs Verheijke brings everjobs both international and local expertise in several areas including business operations, acceleration of sales growth, business development, CRM and product optimization.
Gijs studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, followed by a Master in Finance at the same institution.
