- (1888PressRelease) March 01, 2014 - Evacusafe will be exhibiting their range of evacuation products at the Health & Safety Event, which will be taking place between 11th & 13th March at the NEC in Birmingham. Evacusafe can be found on stand D48.
For those who do not already know, Evacusafe manufacture specialist evacuation chairs, patient transport chairs and Evacuslider rescue-sheets, which have been designed to aid the emergency evacuation of mobility impaired persons from multi-level buildings.
Quite often in an emergency evacuation the lifts are not the safest way to exit a building, which can mean a disabled person, or anyone with a reduced mobility, may be faced with an arduous task. This is where Evacusafe come to the aid in such situations; their products have been specifically designed for use on stairways to assist wheelchairs users, people with injuries, pregnant ladies or those with mobility problems, to help them get out of the building quickly and easily.
Evacusafe's Tracked Evacuation Chairs have specially designed tracks which enable them to glide down stairways with ease, therefore getting the evacuee to a place of safety as quickly and safely as possible.
Evacusafe's Evacusliders are a modern version of the rescue-sheets used in hospitals for evacuating patients in an emergency. The Evacuslider is a thick, comfortable mattress with a super-smooth underside which is used to slide the patent to a place of safety. The patient is secured in place with safety straps. From the budget-busting Standard model to the Premium Adjustable, the Evacuslider range offers a very easy-to-use, cost-effective evacuation solution. The advantage of the Premium Adjustable model is that it can be fully adjusted to fit people of varying size, height and weight and was designed with smaller adults and children in mind.
