Eton Institute To Donate 1 AUD Per Click As Part Of A Facebook Fundraising Campaign For Australian Flood Victims
Eton Institute, the UAE's largest language institute, pledges to donate 1 AUD per 'LIKE' click on its Facebook page. This CSR campaign will help raise money for the displaced victims of Australia's flood disaster.
- (1888PressRelease) January 19, 2011 - Eton Institute, the largest language institute in the UAE, has launched a unique Facebook campaign to help raise money for the displaced victims of Australia's flood disaster. The Institute will be donating 1 AUD for every new member who clicks 'Like' on its official Facebook page this month. The institute, an active member of the community, has spearheaded numerous charitable initiatives including scholarship programmes, free courses and non-profit events as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Director of Eton Institute, commented: "The situation in Queensland has become critical, and thousands of people have been displaced from their homes. The Facebook community can get involved in the fundraising process and, with each click of a button; we can raise enough funds to help these people rebuild their lives. This is a small gesture that costs nothing but can make a real difference."
Eton Institute, headquartered in Dubai Knowledge Village, has pledged to donate 1 AUD (Australian Dollar) for every new member that clicks "Like" on its Facebook page. The donation will be made at the end of the month to the official Queensland Government's Flood Relief Appeal. This initiative has been enthusiastically welcomed by the Australian expat community in the UAE.
