Eton Institute proudly extends its support to Bénédicte Hennebo's Speak Dating in collaboration with Shelter. The Institute will endorse all speak dating events or meets and also offer exclusive gifts / discounts / offers / etc., to this new and vibrant community of linguists.
- (1888PressRelease) July 21, 2010 - Eton Institute, the largest UAE-based language training institute, is proud in endorsing Speak Dating, a novel language exchange community initiative recently launched in Dubai by Bénédicte Hennebo in collaboration with Shelter. Keeping in line with Eton Institute's mission of promoting language diversity, the Speak Dating initiative brings together the multi-national and multi-lingual community of Dubai by matching language enthusiasts who have a common interest in teaching and practicing each other's languages.

Bénédicte Hennebo, linguist and founder of the Speak Dating concept, said: "The language you speak shapes the way you see the world. When you learn foreign languages you start to understand the cultural realities of the other communities. The Speak Dating platform, which takes place in the relaxed yet supportive atmosphere of Shelter, is a perfect complement to language classes and I am very pleased by the endorsement of a leading language school such as Eton Institute."
Eton Institute will extend support to Speak Dating and Shelter by offering special benefits to registered members such as prizes at the Speak Dating Welcome and Information Session, as well a 10% discount on their language courses.
The Speak Dating Welcome and Information Session is hosted once a month to facilitate language matches and those who have found suitable language exchange partners are encouraged to continue the conversation in their own time. Once people register and RSVP for the next event, the organisers can see which languages will be available on the evening, and where there are any "teachers" missing, Eton Institute will get in touch with their multi-lingual community of learners and instructors to fill in these gaps. Participation at the event is completely free; participants are only encouraged to grab a cup of coffee while they learn at Shelter.
