The UK's premier ethical snack food importer and distributor 'Immergruen' has announced that they're now providing Tesco stores with six healthy snack items of their brand 'Landgarten' around the country.
- (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2014 - The next step in the rapid growth of 'Immergruen' which began only five years ago, the company is importing and distributing carefully selected organic foods from Austria, which are GMO-free, gluten-free and fair-trade.
As a health food importer, 'Immergruen' strives to bring excellent organic products to the UK from Austria, which are produced by family run businesses with a history of strong traditional ethics and responsibility.
Founder Karin Feldinger commented "One of my principles is to sell only products I would buy myself. Products that are made with care and responsibility. I still work from home but now I can grow my business and started employing other mums, who want to work from home to make it easier to combine both, working and being a mum,"
The current six product ranges from 'Landgarten' supplied to Tesco by 'Immergruen' include Pumpkin Seed Milk, Pumpkin Seed Dark (VEGAN), Pumpkin Seed Mix Chocolate (white, dark and milk), Soya Dark (VEGAN), Soya Milk Chocolate and Soya Mix Chocolate. All of these are gluten-free, organic and fair trade sourced.
'Landgarten', which has been part of the 'Immergruen' family of brands since 2012, is committed to bringing a taste of Austrian health to the UK. As one of a select few countries in the world who have banned GM maize and rape seed, the Austrian population enjoy an unparalleled quality of both their food and the environment in which it is grown. By producing ethically sound and responsibly produced ranges, 'Landgarten' are offering the UK market with an opportunity to experience the benefits of healthy organic foods.
'Immergruen' was started five years ago by Karin Feldinger in her home as she nursed her infant daughter. Today, the company is still run from her home, but includes mums from around the country, helping to show that mothers can also be successful entrepreneurs. The company grew from one item, Neuner's Nursing Tea, to include the 'Landgarten' line of snacks and foods. Today, the company supplies over 750 retailers across the UK, Ireland and around the world.
