About Shiraz, CEO of Consulus Lanka
Shiraz Latiff has over 28 years of commercial and industry experience, including twenty years at senior managerial level. His background is Strategic Marketing, Business Optimization and Leadership. He has been employed in a cross section of industry sectors, viz., hospitality, apparel, industrial machinery, financial services, information technology and banking.
Shiraz is a Chartered Marketer and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, Colombo and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives, UK. He is trained on Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt with emphasis on process optimization and innovation in the service industry to improve end- to-end customer service delivery. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Bradford School of Management, UK. He is a visiting lecturer for Creative Marketing Strategies for MBA at the University of Kelaniya and a regular speaker at international and local conferences on contemporary themes in Marketing. He is a Past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region and a Trustee of CIM UK representing the International Regions. He is the CEO of Consulus Lanka. He founded Hummingbird International as a Regional Knowledge House focusing on consulting, technology and outsourcing. Consulus Lanka will be their dedicated consultancy vertical for the region.
About Lakshini Kurukulasooriya, COO of Consulus Lanka
Lakshini has an MBA from Durham University Business School UK and a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. She is a Chartered Marketer and a Member of CIM UK, MSLIM and MIM (SL). With more than 15 years of progressive corporate experience in the Asian business context and overseas cross cultural exposure, she is capable of understanding the changing dynamics of the corporate world.
Her areas of expertise include Marketing Strategy, Market Entry/Development, Organizational Design, Market Research and Management Competency Development. Lakshini’s current assignment as a consultant involves facilitating corporates to identify their people profiles and their competencies based on the core values of the organization. This involves 9-Box Talent Identification and Classification, On-boarding and conducting Assessment Center activities and Competency development initiatives.
