eSilverBullet Acquires A Website Builder
eSilverBullet, Inc., a Utah-based technology company that helps companies succeed in eCommerce, announced today it had acquired Magniphy, a platform used for building web sites.
- Ogden-Clearfield, UT (1888PressRelease) April 02, 2011 - Magniphy is a software tool that eliminates the complexity of creating an online store front. It provides a simple interface for choosing a domain name, picking a website template, uploading products and using an integrated shopping cart with merchant account. It allows individuals and budding businesses to grow an idea into a fully functioning online storefront in minutes or hours, rather than days. eSilverBullet then hosts the website so the entrepreneurs can focus on their business instead of worrying about managing servers and maintaining domains.
"We're very excited about adding a Web builder to our suite of tools," said Adam Ward, eSilverBullet's chief executive officer. "It wasn't that long ago we had venture capitalists telling us our vision of providing a complete e-commerce solution was too big to succeed. But by focusing on just the core elements that businesses need to succeed online, we've continued to build or acquire the right tools and know-how, without compromising our overall vision."
The company plans to change the Magniphy name to eSB Builder, to be consistent with other eSilverBullet products. The suite of tools and services provides a single source for helping companies build Web sites, sell products more effectively on third-party e-commerce and auction sites, manage successful email marketing efforts, showcase products more vibrantly on the Internet, and learn affiliate marketing and e Commerce techniques through intuitive on-line courses.
eSilverBullet's activities have caught the attention of some notable industry veterans lately. Dave Norton, co-founder of Iomega, said he is impressed with what he sees.
"The acquisition of Magniphy enables eSilverBullet to provide its customers with additional tools that will enable them to more effectively operate within the Internet marketing channel. This moves eSilverBullet closer to its objective of providing its customers with a complete set of tools needed to effectively capture the financial opportunity of eCommerce," Norton said.
The eSB Builder application costs $39.95. For more information visit http://esilverbullet.com.
