Erin Brinker Named THINK Together's Executive Director, Inland Empire
California's Fastest-Growing Extended-Learning Program Names New Executive Director for Inland Empire Region.
- (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2011 - THINK Together, California's fastest-growing extended-learning program, today announced the appointment of Erin Brinker as Executive Director for the Inland Empire region.
In this new position, Brinker is responsible for fund development and community outreach in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, including all three Inland Empire offices in Moreno Valley (Riverside County), Colton and Foothill (Ontario). She will develop and execute fundraising strategies as well as develop community connections to ensure the best possible outcomes for Inland Empire students in our partner schools.

"Erin will be key in helping us to maximize the community resources necessary to support classroom learning, improve test scores and attendance, and support local school districts in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties."
She will develop and execute fundraising strategies as well as identify and work with potential funding partners and identify potential new THINK Together sites. Brinker will also be responsible for developing individual, corporate and foundation fundraising sources as well as possible collaborative partners in the Inland Empire region.

Brinker joins THINK Together after serving as the president and CEO of Erin Brinker and Associates in San Bernardino, CA. She created and executed marketing and public relations strategies for clients, as well as financial and marketing plans, qualitative and quantitative market research, event planning and social network marketing. She also has experience in nonprofit fund development, including grant writing and management, nonprofit strategic and sustainability planning and board development, and has written a total of $6.5 million in funded grants.
Brinker's diverse experience includes serving as the assistant director of the Foundation for the START Center at California State University, San Bernardino, as well as the business manager and development director for Christian Counseling Services, a nonprofit provider of professional counseling services with a special emphasis on abused and neglected children. Her former clients include Community Hospital of San Bernardino, Santa Claus Incorporated, Time for Change Foundation and many more.
Brinker earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Redlands, School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in German at California State University, San Bernardino.
