Equity Japan, Taiwanese Manufacturers to Purchase Tantalum from IMC Projects
Equity Japan and mining company IMC Projects are to provide capacitor manufacturers with a boost in raw material supply, thanks to the recent investment partnership made between the capital investment firm, Equity Japan and the mining company IMC Projects.
- (1888PressRelease) February 16, 2011 - Asia's largest capacitor manufacturers based in Taiwan have engaged in long-term partnerships to purchase premium grade Tantalum ore, which is being brought to the market through a partnership deal between Equity Japan and IMC Projects.
Equity Japan, the capital investment firm based in Tokyo, have provided the capital investment to IMC Projects to fund mining activities, that will provide the Asian capacitor market with sufficient supplies to relieve the tightening global demand for Tantalum-capacitor based technologies.
IMC Projects, are providing this fresh supply of the metallic ore at a time showing a global slump in supply caused by a tightening of legislation and a collective corporate stance against the illegal flow of 'Conflict Coltan' from Northern African nations, specifically the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Equity Japan as an investment provider for similar projects in the past, possess a wealth of investment experience in the technology and life-science markets, and will use their business relationships to maximize returns for all the parties involved to meet the rising demand for smaller and more efficient mobile technologies heavily reliant on Tantalum based capacitors;
