Epic Missions, Inc. Finds Its Home; Not-for-Profit Is Moving To Vero Beach, FL Property
Epic Missions, the Christian short-term mission ministry, has found its base of operations, a 16-acre Vero property that will house groups from all over the country when they visit Florida's Treasure Coast to give a helping hand to local charities in need.
- Vero Beach, FL (1888PressRelease) October 31, 2011 - Epic Missions, Inc., a recently - formed Christian short-term missions ministry, has found its home, according to Epic president, Paul Munsie. On Nov. 1, the not-for-profit organization will begin its move to a 16-acre property in Vero Beach, which will be known as The Sending Point.
The Vero property features 7,000 square feet under roof to house and provide services for mission teams.
Short-term missionary groups - typically teens, college students or Christian organizations of any age - from all over the country will be visiting Florida's Treasure Coast area to help local charitable or church groups in a customized mission trip created especially by Epic Missions to meet the needs of each particular group. Teams have already been booked for December and early 2012.
Epic Missions has established relationships with a number of ministries in St. Lucie and Indian River Counties, including Let's Bury Violence, Habitat for Humanity, Prison Fellowship, The Love Center, Sportsologie, Sarah's Kitchen and others, along with a number of local churches. Epic's missions teams will be paired with the organization that can best use their particular talents.
For those interested in mission work in Haiti, Epic has an exclusive relationship with the CARHA Orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti, and missions trips there will be led by Pastor Djume Septembre, the founder of CARHA (Christian Active Relief for Haiti).
