EPI Creates Dive Bar Chic and Club Scene Cool Featuring Foreigner and 50 Cent
Orange County event featured concerts by 50 Cent and Foreigner.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) April 13, 2016 - Elite Productions International (EPI), the event design and production company created two distinct, back-to-back events. At a popular beach side parking lot on the California Riviera, the event site was transformed into a dive bar complete with - rough-hewn bars, scarred wood tables and branded billiards. The event was held in an enormous 120' x100'x45' tent.
Classic rock band Foreigner performed a concert that threw guests back in time with hits from the 1970's and 80's. The décor and food reflected the feel and style of a roadhouse or a favorite pub. Guests grazed on tavern fare such as peanuts, popcorn and pretzels, while the selection of food trucks ranged from the Buffalo truck to Dogzilla and quintessential So. Cal. favorite In-N-Out Burger. Custom-built brick walls were splashed in stickers, graffiti, metal signs and old license plates and were the perfect backdrop for the dive bar vibe. Floral décor with architectural accents used green elements such as recycled and crushed soda cans; beer bottles and metal mesh inflections gave a new meaning for what some may consider "trash". A 98' long, tent canopy extension allowed for the party to spread out to the outside and included additional seating, pool tables, beer and whiskey bars all were enjoyed by guests without the threat of getting wet.
The next night, the dive bar had a remake into a swank, posh and sexy club. - Guests were greeted with a red carpet and velvet ropes and treated like true VIP's. A custom laser light show opened the concert and set the party-centric tone. 50 Cent performed and cranked up the energy with his hip-hop hits and gave guests an up-close concert typically reserved for the elite. Lounge areas were separated by 20' high sheer drapery and featured posh furniture and metallic and patent leather benches and accents. Gorgeous, imported crystal chandeliers added refinement, sparkle and shine. Black crystal chandeliers with candles and deep red roses and tulips added to the esthetic. For dessert, in honor of 50 Cent, an over-the-top candy shop - featuring a neon sign, LED lighted cotton candy and hundreds of confections to satisfy any sweet tooth.
