- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) April 25, 2013 - Dr. Shelby Neely, known as "The Cat Doctor" from her award-winning website AskTheCatDoctor.com, has yet another avenue for educating and inspiring cat lovers. "Tails from The Cat Doctor" is a new internet reality series that follows Dr. Neely and her technicians on house calls for cats throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, sharing amazing cat stories, from amusing to heartwarming to miraculous, and helping you learn how to provide the best care for your cats.
This series airs weekly on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. (EST), with each episode available after release "on-demand" 24/7 on Animalz TV, which is a part of America's first multi-channel online TV network, eWave TV's, network group.
Each episode highlights proper veterinary care for cats and provides much-needed education about things to do and not do for your feline companions. In the pilot episode, "Momma's Miracle," which is currently available on-demand, a case is presented where an owner discusses her life-altering decision to treat her cat for a condition that nearly cost Momma her life.
The second episode, which is also available on-demand, focused on multi-species households and ways to give your indoor cats a taste of the outdoors safely. The episode addresses medical issues such as obesity, feline acne, feline cardiomyopathy and more in a challenging house call with client Leslie's ten very vocal "children."
Executive producer for eWave.tv, Lori Cummings, wrote on the company's Facebook page: "If you love cats, you won't want to miss 'Tails from the Cat Doctor' with Dr. Shelby Neely. It is so informative and interesting. If you have cats, it is a must see."
This Saturday, April 27, tune in for a misdiagnosis story that could prove fatal for Maggie the Cat in a special two-part episode.
