ENSCO, Inc. Acquires IData Product Line from Quantum3D

ENSCO, Inc. announced today that it has acquired the IData and IGL 178 product lines from Q3D End Quote

(1888PressRelease) April 30, 2011 - ENSCO, Inc. announced today that it has acquired the IData and IGL 178 product lines along with the supporting assets and staff from Quantum3D through ENSCO's wholly owned subsidiary, IData Visual Systems, Inc. IData Visual Systems, Inc. and Quantum3D will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition for IData customers.

The IData product line consists of a software development toolkit and application elements that provide a highly efficient development environment and high operational performance for digital display devices. Ray Niacaris, former director of Embedded Visual Computing Sales at Quantum3D will serve as director of Operations and Sales of the new subsidiary.
