Siemens is one of the world's leading providers of automation technology products and services. The Siemens Global Technical Certification training consists of courses that utilize the Totally Integrated Automation demonstration kit, comprised of an S7-400 PLC, an S7-300 PLC, a SINAMICS G120 drive, a Multi Panel HMI, and ET200s Profinet and Profibus remote I/O systems for realistic exercises. The certification process included a written and hands-on test in the areas of SIMATIC S7 PLC's, HMI's and networking. These technologies could be used for a variety of purposes and for a variety of industries to include automotive, food and beverage, manufacturing, aerospace and material handling.
