Energy Saving Solutions distributes and installs the latest technologies in LED lamps. These LED lamps are direct replacements for energy-wasting light bulbs, including incandescent bulbs in all shapes and sizes, conventional florescent tubes and compact florescent bulbs, halogen bulbs, high pressure sodium bulbs and more. The ESS LED lamps are used as replacements in both interior and exterior applications.
The primary advantage of ESS LED lamps is their significant energy demand reductions. For example, an MR16 halogen spot light bulb that draws 50 watts can be replaced by an ESS MR16 LED lamp that draws only 6 watts and provides the same illumination. That is an energy savings of 88%. In addition, the new ESS LED lamp generates only a fraction of the 300 degrees of heat of a halogen bulb. Finally, the ESS LED lamp has a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours, versus only 2,000 hours for the halogen bulb.
Energy Saving Solutions also solves a major problem for thousands of facilities: the replacement of obsolete T-12 florescent bulbs and light ballasts. The manufacture and importation of these inefficient florescent bulbs and ballasts have been banned by the U.S. federal Government since 2012. It is estimated that there are more than 1 billion T-12 florescent light fixtures in the U.S. Replacement bulbs and ballasts are now becoming nearly impossible to find as retailers eliminate their inventories.
Energy Saving Solutions new service location in Arkansas will install replacement LED tube lamps that are a direct replacement for T-12 florescent bulbs. In most cases, the existing light fixture can be reused with ESS electricians rewiring then to bypass the ballasts. The new ESS LED tube lamps consume less than one-half of the electricity of the old T-12 bulbs. And the ESS LED tube lamps have a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours compared to only 7,500 for conventional florescent bulbs. The new ESS LED lamps also completely eliminate the disposal and recycling hassles of the old florescent bulbs which contain mercury and other heavy metals that can not be added to landfills and must be treated as hazardous waste.
