Iowa Western Community College chooses Education Management Solutions' (EMS) cutting-edge simulation management technology to improve clinical and team training, streamline operations, and manage lab inventory at its new Nursing Center for Excellence.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2010 - Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) has selected Education Management Solutions' Arcadia Suite of products for its state of the art Nursing Center of Excellence. The college's nursing students, as well as local EMTs and hospitals, will use the nearly 28,000 square foot training facility.
According to IWCC President Dr. Dan Kinney, the new Center will enable the college to significantly increase the number of nursing graduates. He firmly believes that Iowa Western will be one of the premier nursing education facilities in the country. The center includes four surgery tech classrooms, 10 simulator classroms, three debriefing rooms, an EMT room, and a medical assistant lab.
