Employee-owned acQuire Appoints New Managing Director in Planned Succession
acQuire Technology Solutions names a new managing director and announces significant leadership changes. The employee-owned software company specialising in Geoscientific Information Management (GIM) products and services operates under a sustainable business philosophy designed to thrive in any business climate. These changes signify the culmination of a lengthy, three-part leadership succession.

Focused on continual renewal and long-term resilience of the company, these changes become part of a 'Habit of Handover' allowing the employee-owned business to thrive in any economic climate.
acQuire specialises in Geoscientific Information Management (GIM) solutions and is accustomed to weathering the continual fluctuations experienced in the natural resources industry.
Outgoing Managing Director, Bill Withers, made the announcement to acQuire employees this week.
"We use the ADAPT by Design succession framework to build a strong adaptability engine at acQuire," says Withers. "This allows us to move rapidly on opportunities to perpetually improve on the quality and effectiveness of the organisation."
Employees at acQuire embrace the handover culture, which instils a strong mentoring program at every level of staffing. Continual career development guided by a values constitution contributes to a stable, sustainable workforce.

Withers remains available as a mentor and advisor to the acQuire leadership team. He continues as Chairman of Metech Holdings, the parent company of acQuire and ADAPT by Design. Withers is also Managing Director of ADAPT by Design.
Effective immediately, the following members of the leadership team are appointed:
Managing Director: David Stephen - Stephen joined acQuire in 2003 and joined the Board in 2008. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations.
Director of Operations: Alison Atkins - Atkins joined acQuire in 2001 and joined the Board in 2011. Her previous roles include Regional Manager of Implementation and Director of Implementation.
Chief Financial Officer: Claudia Van Dijk - Claudia joined acQuire in 2010. She is currently the Global Manager for Administration and Finance. Van Dijk moves into the role of Chief Financial Officer in July 2014.
Andrew Shoemack is a founding Director at acQuire, Shoemack is leaving the acQuire Board but will continue his role as Director of Metech Holdings.
