EMP Offers Emergency Nurses Excellent Opportunities in 2011

- (1888PressRelease) May 18, 2011 - Advanced Emergency Nursing 2011 is being offered again this year on April 18-19, 2011, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Advanced Emergency Nursing Course has been developed to address the educational needs of emergency nurse administrative and clinical leaders, as well as staff nurses seeking professional development and enhancement of their clinical skills. Current, cutting-edge topics will be covered that impact emergency nurses on a daily basis. Real-world solutions will be provided by national nursing and physician leaders. Attending this ED nurse continuing education course will prepare nurses for the challenges being currently faced in Emergency Nursing.

Patient Satisfaction Academy for Nurses - "Customer Satisfaction - Debunking the Myths," is a new course being offered for the first time in 2011 only to EMP partner- hospital nursing staff on April 13, 2011, at the Kent State Stark Conference Center in Canton, Ohio. In the last five years, EMP has trained over 200 emergency physicians in our Patient Satisfaction Academy. This program has been built and led by the same dynamic team that is now bringing it to our emergency nursing partners. EMP affiliated nurses are invited and encouraged to attend this highly informative and interactive workshop for a day of learning and renewal that they can take back and put into action their very next shift. Emergency Medicine Physicians Directors' Meeting with our ED Nurse Managers has become an annual event, this year taking place on May 25-26, 2011, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This meeting brings together EMP Directors from each of our 60 hospitals across the nation, as well as assistant directors, other leadership, staff physicians, and the EMP Scholars class. The meeting gives our nursing professional partners an opportunity to meet all of our leadership, to interact and share their ideas, and to collaborate with other nursing colleagues across the US to help make our Emergency Departments operate more efficiently.
