EMLab P&K Launches MoldRANGE Local Climate Report for Mold Testing in Florida and Arizona
EMLab P&K launches MoldRANGE Local Climate to help IAQ professionals who perform mold testing in Florida and Arizona. The free mold lab report provides better insights for outdoor mold spore levels in the zip code where the mold testing took place.
- (1888PressRelease) February 02, 2015 - EMLab P&K, a TestAmerica company and the leading commercial indoor air quality (IAQ) laboratory in North America, announced the launch of the MoldRANGE Local Climate report. The new report is free for EMLab P&K clients and provides better insights for outdoor mold spore levels in Florida and Arizona based on the zip code where the mold testing took place. EMLab P&K is the only mold laboratory that offers a scientifically developed tool to help IAQ professionals with their mold investigations. The MoldRANGE Local Climate report will be available for additional U.S. states in coming months.
"We are excited to further advance MoldRANGE through our patent-pending, zip code-based MoldRANGE Local Climate report," said Dave Gallup, EMLab P&K's General Manager and Co-Founder. "This new report helps clients in Florida and Arizona save time and money and make more informed decisions based on seasonal, climate, and geographical outdoor spore data. EMLab P&K clients know they work with the IAQ industry leader who is committed to providing superior client service and innovative solutions."
Previously, the MoldRANGE report provided data from an entire state. However, the climate and outside spore distribution across even a single state may vary depending on location. As a result, different zip codes in the same state can have their own unique range of outdoor mold spores. Now MoldRANGE Local Climate provides improved data from the specific zip code where the mold sample was taken. The new report is now available for EMLab P&K's clients who perform mold testing in Florida and Arizona.
The MoldRANGE Local Climate report was developed by a team of experienced scientists and top IT experts, using the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) database of weather and geography combined with EMLab P&K's proprietary database of outdoor spore trap samples with known zip codes. Local climate variables from NOAA include: Annual High Temperature, Elevation, Rainfall/Precipitation, and Monthly Temperature Range. MoldRANGE reference data for EMLab P&K's clients in Florida and Arizona will be more precise and useful by utilizing the zip code of the mold sample.
