Emerson Climate Technologies Invites entries for the Emerson Cup 2010
The Emerson Cup is an annual event that recognizes talent and rewards excellence in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. In its 3rd consecutive year, the Emerson Cup 2010 is inviting project nominations from HVAC/R professionals and students from India and South East Asia till Aug 20, 2010.

The competition, held for the last seven years in China, is now in its third consecutive year in India and South East Asia. The Emerson Cup 2010 is inviting entries from consulting engineers, architects, real estate developers, institutional owners, contractors and students (architecture and engineering) till 20th August, 2010. There are 5 award categories for various types of building/applications:
1. New Buildings (Residential and Commercial)
2. Special Applications (Data centres, clean rooms etc)
3. Retail & Refrigeration (Supermarkets, cold rooms etc)
4. Retrofit (Heritage, other functional buildings where A/C has been added/replaced)
5. Students (ideas that can reduce the carbon footprint of your institute/school)

Entries will be judged by an international panel of judges from India, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand and the awards will be given out during the Indian Green Building Congress in Chennai, India on Oct 8th, 2010.
