Emergenza To Invade Germany's Schwimmbad Musik Club On Nov. 15
The Schwimmbad Musik Club will host the Emergenza Rock Festival on November 15, 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2013 - For well over 30 years, the Schwimmbad Musik Club has offered a wide range of club music and entertainment four days a week. Its stage has been graced by the presence of music legends such as Kurt Curbain and Fury in the Slaughterhouse. The club is a cinema, a disco and a bar that offers live DJ's. From Hip Hop to Pop Rock all flavors of music are served here.
The Schwimmbad Musik Club's bistro provides the revelers with a variety of snacks and drinks. During the summer months there is an open air disco. The Club has been hosting the Emergenza Rock Festival since 2001. Emergenza has held regional preliminaries and semifinals on the Schwimmbad Musik Club's stage.
Emergenza is the world's largest and most popular rock festival for up and coming, unsigned bands. It hosts events in more than 150 cities across the globe each year. The festival is held in knockout rounds. Bands take to the stage for thirty minute sets. The first rounds are judged by the attending audience. The vote is open and audience members can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a jury panel of professional judges.
Each band hopes to win their countries national finals. All national winners are flown to Germany at Emergenza's expense for the international finals. Emergenza also covers all expenses associated with accommodation and local transportation. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival.
During the three days of the Taubertal Open air Festival, bands will have a chance to share the bill with some of rocks biggest legends play in front of 30000 people. The winning band is crowned the "Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and so much more.
Four bands will take to the stage to compete; alternative rock band And The Change, funk blues groove band Stoned Freedom, rock band Helden ohne Heimat and rock-n-roll band Wild Garden.
