Emergenza Set To Rock Melbourne
The second night of band competition in the infamous Rock Festival Emergenza is scheduled for May 10th, 2013 at the Epsy located in Melbourne, Australia.
- (1888PressRelease) June 01, 2013 - The evening's events will include the acoustic sounds of Kiddos, progressive rockers At The Age Of 440, acoustic rock by Lune 200, alternative Indie bands Diamonds of Neptune and The Shrunken Heads, the Rasta vibes of Irie, rockers Black Fuel and Root Rock by James Caddy.
Many fans believe the battle lies between native Indie rockers Diamonds of Neptune and The Shrunken Heads. Both bands are headed into the event to prove they have the 'Indie Edge.'
Emergenza is being held in the Epsy Basement and costs $20.00 at the door. Emergenza was created back in 1991 and each year rocks 36 countries, 184 cities and four continents.
Enrollment in Emergenza is free and each band competes in 30 minutes sets. Elimination rounds are held throughout the season, which spans September thru June. A jury votes the 'Best Band in the World' during the International Final. The finalist band members voted as "Best Drummer", "Best Singer", "Best Guitarist" and "Best Bassist" also get instruments and other technical material from the festival sponsors.
Emergenza has signed several former participants to Sony Music, Warner Bros and Virgin Records.
