Emergenza rocking Hamburg Germany on Saturday June 1st
The Emergenza Rock Festival for up and coming, unsigned rock bands will be at the Markthalle in Hamburg, Germany on June 1, 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) May 29, 2013 - The Markthalle located at Mlosterwall 9 - 21, Hamburg will be hosting the Emergenza Rock Festival! The Markthalle is a convention center, which was designed by architect Fritz Schumacher. The main hall can hold 1,000 people. Several notable bands have performed in the main hall including Guns N' Roses, U2, AC/DC, Dio, The Police and Run-D.M.C.
The Emergenza Rock Festival will take place in the venues large hall. They will host six hours of live music played by the best newcomers in northern Germany.
The June 1st event will feature the following fourteen bands; pop rock alternative band Naked at Dawn, Indie rock band Lex Liberty, metal crossover band Jaw Drop, rock alternative band Breakstuff, rock 70 band Wasted Roads, German rock band Exzess, alternative rock band Half a Holiday, stonerrock band Goldmouth, metal rock band Arise in Chaos, pop band Lanford, nu metal band InFlator, pop rock band FOAH, stonerrock band Levenshtein and new metal band Pollywog Chieftan.
The bands will hit the stage for 30 minute sets of original music in hopes of moving on to the finals to be held on August 11, 2013. The final is held in Germany at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Emergenza is held on the venues "Sound of Nature" stage. The festival winner is crowned "The Best Band in the World." The winner of the Emergenza Rock Festival final receives the opportunity to record its music and a shot at the 'big time.'
