Emergenza is Going Down Under to Australia's ESPY on September 22
Emergenza returns to the ESPY with its ever growing rock festival!
- (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2013 - The ESPY is a small capacity musical venue, but one of Melbourne's hottest spots. It offers a funky design with an incredible view. The ESPY is located in one of the countries most beautiful places. The ESPY offers delicious food, cold beer, rocking music and a stunning view. Emergenza brings more than one hundred bands through this venue each year.
Emergenza is the rock festival of choice for up and coming unsigned bands of all genres. The festival is the brain child of musically minded friends. It has been making rock dreams come true since 1992. Emergenza held its first event in 1992 in front of just over 300 fans, but five months later the numbers reached 3000. The events are held in knockout rounds. The first rounds are decided by the audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a professional jury panel of judges.
Each country crowns a national winner and these national winners are flown at Emergenza's expense to the international finals. The international finals are held each August in Germany at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Bands talented enough to make the international festival will share the stage with some of the biggest names in the music industry. The winner is crowned "The Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and more!
Five bands will be competing at the ESPY on the 22nd; alternative rock band Overshine, alternative rock band Sonic Milf Castle, pop rock band The Brinksmen, Indie pop band the Chris Watts and rock band Opression.
Stop by the ESPY for some of the countries most talented up and coming rock stars!
