(1888PressRelease) June 04, 2013 - The Bierhubeli located at Neubrückstrasse 43, Bern hosts weekly popular live acts and dance parties. The venue offers an amazing Beer Garden. Under beautiful chestnut trees one can enjoy ice-cold beer and excellent snacks from weisswurst with pretzels and cheese salad to spare ribs and home-made apple pie.

On June 8th eleven bands will hit the stage in Bierhubeli's Hall to play thirty minutes of original music in hopes of moving on in the festival and representing Switzerland in the international finals. The bands scheduled are folk band Cachet, heavy metal band Headless Project, hip hop band Breakout, hip hop band Essenz, metal progressive band Influence X, pop band Awesome Arnold, pop punk band So Wasted, rock band A Certain State of Mind, rock band Basement Saints, rock band The Three Sum and rock metal band Legend 69.

It is each band hope to make the international finals that will be held on August 11, 2013 at the Taubertal Open Air Festival in Germany. Festival promoters expect more than 20,000 in attendance. Bands lucky enough to make the international finals will share the bill with head liners Prodigy, Bush, Skunk Anansie, The Hive, The Editors, MIKA, Pink, Placebo, The Cure, Iggy Pop, The Darkness, Bad Religion, Emilbulls and Royal republic.
