EMERGE! Fashion Runway Show Announces Designers That Will Present Their Fall 2012 Fashion Lines During the Show
New York City Fashion Week Event Provides a Platform for Emerging Designers.
- (1888PressRelease) January 16, 2012 - One of the top emerging designer collective showcases during fashion week, EMERGE! A Fashion Runway Show (http://www.emergefashionnyc.com), announced today this season's anticipated roster of designers that will be presenting their Fall 2012 fashion lines. EMERGE! A Fashion Runway Show is produced by D. Williams Public Relations Group and debuted on the Fashion elite social scene in February 2012 and since then has been consistent in providing a platform for emerging designers to showcase their work twice a year for New York City Fashion Week. This February the event will feature six different designers with a wide array of recognized talent and will be hosted at the historic Broad Street Ballroom (41 Broad Street, NYC) on February 14, 2012 with doors promptly opening at 6:00pm for Reception and 7:00pm for the Awards Program and Fashion Show. The evening is by invite only and provides up-and-coming designers with an opportunity to propel themselves into the spotlight. Guests will range from retail buyers, fashion influencers, top fashion editors, tastemakers, socialites and more.
Featured EMERGE! Designers will include:
Terri Stevens, owner of Funkinbeautiful designs. A well-known name in the NY Fashion industry, from both previous Emerge! shows and also a contestant from Project Runway Season 5. She has eclectic and funky styles that compliment her own unique personality.
Omar Villalobos and Gordana Rasic of Goca Designs. Rasic and Villalobos have combined efforts in revamping the fashion industry as a vessel of art; bringing obscure truths into clarity. The line aims to explore duality presented in everyday life. The line is not to tell a story but to open a dialogue between the label and its audience.
Elie Kuame of Elie Kuame Couture from Paris, France. designer of Elie Kuame Couture, is an artist who embodies finesse and originality. Born in Belgium with both Lebanese and Ivorian roots, Elie will be coming from Paris to show his newest collection. Elie's designs have a capacity to combine a variety of materials and textiles in a masterful manner.
Barbara Bates of Barbara Bates Designs. Chicago-based fashion designer Barbara Bates has become a dynamic leader in the fashion industry. Over the years, her designs have stood the test of time. Each piece from her collection represents hard work, creativity, and an attention to detail that is unwavering with a clear vision of what people want.
Michael Alan Stein of Michael Alan Stein Designs. Michael Alan Stein has a masterful modern system of dressing created with the goal of developing a global lifestyle clothing brand. The collection was formed from Mr. Stein's understanding of the contemporary woman desires for credible, wearable clothing, and is about silhouette and proportions in sophisticated combinations.
Jahi Fitzgerald and Evoli Fac'cion of Evoli Fac'cion. A line where the name spelled backwards says I love Fashion and strives to create pieces for today's professional and fashion forward woman. Jahi' has worked tirelessly on designing clothing that easily become timeless pieces in any woman's wardrobe.
Previous Fashion EMERGE! Fashion Runway show designers have included the well known Dominique Auxilly, Sheila Rashid, Adriana Osorio Lugo, Borris Powell, and many more.

Vogue contributing editor Andre' Leon Talley is being awarded the coveted Fashion Innovator Award ( FIA Award) for the evening being presented to him by Diane Von Furstenberg. Andrι Leon Talley is one of the fashion industry's most influential style setters. Talley is undoubtedly the most prominent African American in the high-stakes world of designer fashion. Talley has championed a number of young African-American designers over the course of his long career. He is known for his elaborate outfits and amazing personality. Andre has been paired with famous designers like Rachel Roy, Kimora Lee Simmons and Tracy Reese, to name a few.
Emerge! was created and produced by D. Williams PR Group. The fashion show is styled by Tai Chunn. Back of the house logistics are provided by MVC Management Productions.
