Emaar MGF celebrates National Safety Week with site workers
Company organised Safety promotion and awareness activities at project sites.
- (1888PressRelease) March 13, 2015 - Emaar MGF, the leading real estate developer in India, recently commemorated the 44th National Safety Day and Week at its project sites with a host of activities. The Company organised various events with active participation by site contractors for spreading awareness about the importance of safety among st its site workers promoting compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) norms.
The campaign to celebrate 4th March as National Safety Day and the week of 4th-10th March as National Safety Week across India every year was firstly founded by National Safety Council of India, a self-governing and non-profit body.
The Company conducted various safety awareness activities and competitions at its project sites like Palm Terraces Select, Marbella, Capital Towers, Palm Hills, Palm Drive and Emerald Hills in Gurgaon and Mohali Hills in Mohali. The construction workers demonstrated great enthusiasm and participated actively in programs like safety flag hoisting, safety pledge, safety walk, mock safety drills and demonstration, safety song and safety speeches. Emaar MGF also facilitated prize distribution for the best HSE performers, as well as the most safety-conscious laborers and workers at site.

Emaar MGF, in addition to offering global quality projects for its patrons, organised several social initiatives regularly. The company undertook the annual blanket distribution drive recently across its project sites in India. It held health camps for its site workers on World AIDS Day, and awareness sessions on World Quality Day. Other activities like gift distribution to children of construction workers, blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, etc. are a regular part of company's calendar. It also runs Mobile Creches for children of site laborers taking care of their education, nutrition and health. Moreover, Emaar MGF has contributed to various relief funds for floods in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Odisha; in addition to associating with NGOs working in the field of disability, education and healthcare.
