  • Reno-Sparks, NV (1888PressRelease) December 03, 2010 - ElectraTherm, Inc. (electratherm.com) announces its heat to power generating system on the expo floor at the Power Gen International Conference in Orlando, Fla., December 14-16, 2010 (Booth number 1140). ElectraTherm's Green Machine generates a range of power between 30-50 kW from low-temperature (190-240°F/88-116°C) waste heat. Power Gen participants are encouraged to visit the booth, located in the Renewable Energy section, to learn more about the Green Machine and how it operates.

"The Green Machine generates power from low grade heat sources that would otherwise go to waste," said Rob Emrich, ElectraTherm Vice President of Sales. "The power is fuel-free, emission-free renewable energy, all in a compact frame. Its modularity speaks for itself, with attendees able to visit the machine on the show floor."

Rob Emrich will present at Power Gen during the Geothermal Power Generation session on December 15 at 1:30 p.m., room 304D, Level 3. His presentation, "Small Scale Power Generation from Geothermal & Co-Produced Fluids" will explore the untapped power generation opportunities in Oil & Gas. ElectraTherm was recently awarded a $1 Million grant from the Department of Energy to demonstrate this technology in the U.S.
