Education Online Services Corporation announces the hire of Dr. Karen Bond as new VP of Academic Services
- (1888PressRelease) July 20, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY - Education Online Services Corporation (EOServe Corp.), an education marketing and management company, has named Dr. Karen Bond as its new Vice President of Academic Services.
In this position, Dr. Bond will oversee all academic services including online curriculum implementation, instructional design, course development, and faculty training. Dr. Bond will be Education Online Service Corporation's lead representative responsible for developing academic relationships that will lead to successful online program implementation for its educational partner institutions which include Jackson State University, Morris Brown College, Langston University, Tougaloo College, and others.
Historically and traditionally rooted in cognitive and behavioral psychology, Instructional Design is the philosophy, methodology, and approach used to deliver information. Dr. Bond's extensive expertise in applying systematic methodology, based on instructional theory to create educational content for online learning, reinforces EOServe Corp's position as the leading service provider of online higher education degree programs.

Before joining Education Online Services Corporation, Dr. Bond founded Bond Consulting, an educational consulting firm that specialized in providing contract services to higher education institutions for curriculum design, faculty training for online program delivery, and instructional design for programs and specific course modules for universities.
Prior to starting Bond Consulting, she worked as research assistant to The Ohio State University's President, E. Gordon Gee. As an attorney, she specialized in higher education law and also served as both professor and adjunct professor for several well-known universities.
Dr. Bond has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the Jack A. Culbertson Award for Excellence in Higher Education Administration from Ohio State University, the Alpha Xi Delta Award in Speech Communication, and the winner of the coveted Jewett Prize for Oratorical Competition to name a few.
Dr. Bond holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where she was Articles Editor of The Ohio State University Law Review. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an M.B.A. in Human Resources from Davenport University. Earning a BA in Business Communication and English from Marietta College, she was nominated for membership in the nation's most prestigious academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa, as well as holding memberships in Omicron Delta Kappa, Tau Pi Phi, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Alpha Sigma Lambda. Dr. Bond will receive her Doctorate of Education in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University in 2011 where she is currently completing her dissertation.
