On Tuesday, September 27, at 4:40 p.m., Mr. MacNeil will join David Schirmacher, President of 7x24 International, Grant Kirkwood, CTO and Founder of Unitas Global, and Jessica Carrol, Institute Fellow at the Institute for Digital Transformation for the panel presentation, "10 really big ideas! Forecasting the multi-tenant colo and cloud services data center for 2025." As part of the event's Servers + Storage educational track, this session will explore major trends observed throughout the hosting industry, specifically focusing on the evolution of multi-tenant colo and cloud services within modern facilities.
The colo and cloud services industry is quickly evolving as advanced design and technology trends continue to emerge throughout the data center ecosystem. During this session, panelists will examine how today's network and IT systems are paving the way for the truly software-defined, open-source, data driven and autonomous data center. In addition, in order to educate today's data center investors and developers on how to plan for what lies ahead, participants will discuss their predictions about impending breakthroughs in energy and thermal technology that will impact future facility design.
