Edcspin Changes Name To The Thrive Network; New Name, Bigger Mission
The THRIVE Network, formerly known as EDCSPIN (Evelyn Douglin Center for Serving People In Need), is a 501(c)(3), that offers programs and services to individuals to help them reach their full potential.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2015 - EDCSPIN (Evelyn Douglin Center for Serving People In Need) announced that effective immediately, the corporate name has been changed to The THRIVE Network to reflect the nonprofit organization's broader mission and initiatives to serve its community and those in need.

This could not have been possible without the tireless efforts of a highly dedicated staff and the leadership of a talented and generous Board of Directors. It was through their efforts that we are now able to help individuals with disabilities and their families thrive. For the last 19 years, the organization has served thousands of individuals within the five boroughs of New York City and New Jersey through impactful services and programs. This name change is the first step in creating a bigger and more extensive network of services, furthering the organization's reach to help individuals succeed. With a new mission, the organization will now also provide ancillary services to senior citizens and the homeless as well as employment support along with its existing services. All members of the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team and staff will remain the same.

ABOUT CHARLES A. ARCHER
Charles A. Archer is a lawyer, author, speaker, professor, entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder of The THRIVE Network. Archer is the author of the "Everybody Paddles" book compilations that provide strategies to building a unified team through leadership. In 2011, Archer served as a Cuba Research Delegate with the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD), for which he has also lectured.
