Edc Apps Launches Cancer News TV App That Curates Over 6,000,000 Videos For Quick Access
A new app selects media to help educate cancer patients and caregivers.
- (1888PressRelease) November 14, 2013 - The American Cancer Society estimated that 1,638,910 new cancer cases were diagnosed in 2012 and more than 12 million U.S. Citizens are currently living with the disease.
Cancer News TV, a free mobile app by EDC-Apps.com for both Apple and Android devices, curates the best videos on YouTube into an easy, quick app channel that ensures viewers aren't overwhelmed by content all at once. The app also features a brief interactive Pop Quiz after each viewed video that helps ensure you've been educated on the content you just watched as well as, optionally enters the viewer into sponsored giveaways. Viewers can also signup to receive curated samples of Cancer related patients care products and special offers each month.
"By combining the customized television experience with a go-anywhere mobile connection, patients and caregivers can get the latest news and information that relates directly to their needs, whether sitting in a doctors office or waiting at an airport" states entertainment and technology expert Din Altit. "The trivia questions associated with each video is a perfect way to re-iterate the core values stressed in each message to ensure the consumer remembers valuable take-aways."
Cancer News TV will also provide badge notifications each time new videos are added, with only a limited amount of videos allowed to be viewed each week. Viewers can also post any video to their personal Facebook page directly from the app to share with family and friends. Those who enter into each giveaway can go to each month to see which campaigns are running at any time as well as, discover product information that is featured in Box Of Care packages. Participants can only enter into the giveaways by taking the selected Pop Quizzes, which change on a regular basis.
