Tom, Technical Advisor for ecig and more was quoted as saying “I started smoking 46 years ago at the age of 14. There were no warnings about cigarettes at that time and boy were they inexpensive. I thought I was hooked for life. Though a smoker I tell every young person that I see light up that it is a stupid, filthy expensive habit and to stop before they take years from their lives.
I tried Nicotine Patches and was doing quite well for a few weeks. One evening I got involved in a very intense game of 9 Ball. I ripped the patch off, bought a pack of cigarettes and within ½ hour my Blood Pressure sky rocketed and I had to go to the Hospital. I was very fortunate and lived. The next day I had to make a choice, put on a patch or smoke a cigarette. I chose the cigarette from fear of wearing a patch and getting stupid and lighting a cigarette up again. Maybe this makes me a weak person but I don’t feel alone.
I have new hope now however. I can stop my nicotine craving with Nicotrol and or electric cigarettes. These products eliminate the physical urge of craving nicotine without the harmful Tar and thousands of deadly ingredients found in regular cigarettes. There however is psychological addiction as well. When I have my morning coffee I feel I need to put a tube in my mouth and inhale.
This is the same as when I drive, one hand on the wheel puffing away on a tube. This is where Nicotrol and Electric Cigarettes come hand in hand.
