Ecco Has Integrated Erp-systems Sap And Microsoftdynamicsax Within The Framework Of EDI
The famousDanish shoe brand ECCO finished the integration of its ERP-systems on the SAP platforms (in Denmark) and MicrosoftDynamicsAx (in Russia) within the framework of the project of Electronic Data Interexchange EDI.

"The European standard EDIFACT as a format of the data interexchange between ERP-systems was chosen. Before the integrations of Danish ERP-system SAP and accountancy systems were realized on its base in many countries. We followed that step in the process of integration with ERP-system MicrosoftDynamicsAx in Russia", - Sergey Prokhorov, CIO ECCO Russia clarified.
Basic tasks that were set and finally solved in the integration progress are the simplification and unification of electronic circulation of documents between the Russian and Dutch branches, the automatization of accountancy, the minimization of data discrepancies in the exchange of electronic documents, also the simplification of the work concerning the order of the goods and the minimization of the personnel's mistakes.
"Before we had to manage the work of Russian managers in several electronic systems of information interexchange, including SAP and additional software, some electronic documents were sent by e-mail, it often provoked the discrepancy in data, delays and complications in the control of deliveries.Also it demanded the involvement of greater number of both Danish and Russian specialists in the sphere of realizing the interaction concerning the placement of orders, planning of deliveries and accountancy.
The integration of our ERP-systems excluded the complications and drastically simplified the work of the logistics and accountant specialists. Receiving automated analytical data of sales concerning each shop, now we can optimize the offer of seasonal collection" - Svetlana Bekker, Commercial Director ECCO EMEA said.
