EasyFoodandWine.com Announces 2011 Thanksgiving Turkey Leftover Recipe
Following the Site's Annual Tradition, Turkey Shepard's Pie is Introduced as This Year's Turkey Leftover Cooking Idea.
- (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2011 - Food and wine pairing website, http://www.EasyFoodandWine.com, has just announced its 2011 Thanksgiving Leftover Recipe. Each year during the week of Thanksgiving, the site introduces a new recipe that can be made using turkey leftovers, and this year's new Thanksgiving recipe is Turkey Shepard's Pie.
"If you're like us, you make a really big turkey for Thanksgiving because you know leftovers are the best part," said Mike, co-founder of EasyFoodandWine.com. "Our Turkey Shepard's Pie Recipe lets you repurpose your leftover turkey meat and mashed potatoes into a new dish to enjoy after Thanksgiving."
Husband and wife, Mike and Amy Kass, founded the site in 2008 to provide easy-to-follow recipes and fine wine pairings that any home cook or amateur wine enthusiast can follow and prepare. Mike is the 'cook' of the family and designs each of the recipes featured on EasyFoodandWine, and Amy is the 'wine expert' and pairs each recipe with two wines - a more affordable 'Steal' wine (under $15) and a pricier 'Splurge' selection.
"Thanksgiving is one of the great holidays for cooking and enjoying food and wine," added Amy, Mike's wife and co-founder of EasyFoodandWine.com. "With our Turkey Leftover Recipes, you can extend the joy of Thanksgiving - and enjoy great food, with a tasty wine, after the holiday's over."
The Turkey Shepard's Recipe can be accessed at: http://www.easyfoodandwine.com/Turkey-Shepards-Pie.html. In addition to Turkey Shepard's Pie, past Thanksgiving turkey leftover recipes have included Turkey Dirty Rice and Turkey Empanadas with Cranberry-Pineapple Salsa. These other Turkey Recipes are available at http://www.easyfoodandwine.com/Turkey-Recipes.html. Like all the recipes on EasyFoodandWine.com, these recipes are each paired with an affordable "Steal" wine priced under $15 and generally available nationally, and a pricier "Splurge" wine.
New recipes and articles are added regularly, and those who would like to receive new postings as they can come out can sign up for the EasyFoodandWine.com newsletter at the site, or by following Amy and Mike on Twitter at ( @ ) easyfoodandwine dot
