Easy Soft Updates Software in Response to 2013 Omnibus Rule Amendment
Easy Soft is releasing a new version of CIS, its New Jersey family law software, to reflect changes in the new 2013 Omnibus Rule Amendment.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 03, 2013 - The 2013 Omnibus Rule Amendment made changes to a number of New Jersey state laws, including the regulations governing divorce, custody and child support. Easy Soft has incorporated those changes into the newest version of CIS, their Case Information Statement software developed to help family law practices in New Jersey.
The new rules, which went into effect on September 1, 2013, include modifications to the Case Information Statement form required in New Jersey divorces, and changes to the guidelines on how child support is determined. The amended law includes updated child support tables that are based on the work of Dr. William Rodgers III, Chief Economist of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.
Easy Soft has incorporated these changes in the 2013 Omnibus Rule Amendment into the latest version of their New Jersey family law software, CIS (http://www.easysoft-usa.com/family-law-nj-cis.html). The software is a suite of tools designed specifically to help New Jersey divorce attorneys gather financial information from clients, prepare the Case Information Statement, and study various custody and child support scenarios to find the one that will best serve the children in a divorce.
The new version of CIS is available as a free update to existing users, who can download the software by going to Easy Soft's download page. New Jersey family law attorneys not currently using CIS can contact Easy Soft to inquire about purchasing a software license.
"Attorneys need to stay abreast of recent changes in the law and so do companies that provide legal software," says Easy Soft CEO, Dr. Rick Kabra. "We always strive to keep all of our software compliant with relevant laws across the nation."
CIS: voted Best Practice Management Software in New Jersey Law Journal Poll, currently used by more than 1500 law firms, law schools, paralegal studies colleges and state agencies. It integrates with another Easy Soft product, Divorce Financials, to create a comprehensive divorce planning software solution for family law attorneys.
