Easy Food and Wine Celebrates Three Years

The site, launched in August 2008 offers enthusiasts of fine cooking and the art of wine pairing a new for gourmet recipes, tips on wine pairing and cooking, and more.

Husband and wife, Mike and Amy Kass, founded the site in 2008 to provide easy-to-follow recipes and fine wine pairings that any home cook or amateur wine enthusiast can follow and prepare. Mike is the 'cook' of the family and designs each of the recipes featured on EasyFoodandWine, and Amy is the 'wine expert' and pairs each recipe with two wines - a more affordable 'Steal' wine (under $15) and a pricier 'Splurge' selection.

Since launching, Amy and Mike have continuously added to the content and features on the site, which now includes nearly thirty recipes and an extensive archive of helpful food and wine articles. In 2009, the couple created a section for Vegetarian Recipes, and in 2010, a Low-Calorie section was added with recipes under 400 calories. That year, the couple also added a Food Blog mirroring its existing popular Wine Blog, showcasing articles about gourmet food, dining and cooking.
