East Coast Paddle Helps Fight Cystic Fibrosis
East Coast Paddle offers paddleboards, lessons for event benefitting the chronic lung disease, Cystic Fibrosis.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) July 16, 2011 - East Coast Paddle, a one-stop paddleboard company based in New Smyrna Beach, is helping children breathe easier with a special event for more than 25 kids on July 30.
East Coast Paddle is partnering with Pipeline To A Cure, a foundation benefitting awareness and research for the chronic lung disease, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), for the upcoming Surf Experience event.
Aimed at opening the lungs of CF patients through ocean-based activities, Surf Experience will offer participants a day of therapeutic fun, featuring individualized paddleboarding lessons. East Coast Paddle will be offering paddleboards, as well as paddleboarding instruction, for the event.
"Salty ocean air helps clear the lungs and sinuses," said Tim Baker, ECP founder. "Not only will the kids be breathing easier, but they'll be having a good time learning about a new sport."
Surf Experience is open to all CF patients and their families and will take place at New Smyrna Beach, Saturday, July 30 at 9:30 a.m. For more information regarding Surf Experience call 407-461-6085 or email Robkeller25 ( @ ) gmail dot com dot
