The company will be represented by Tavares Martinho, Exploration Director of National Oil Company of Mozambique who will speak about current projects for LNG and gas landscape in Mozambique.
With possession of 80 percent of the immense oil resources that have been the common asset of undivided Sudan and new reforms on the way, South Sudan is now poised to be one of the fastest growing oil fields in the world. The delegation from South Sudan is confirmed to be led by Paul Adong Bith Deng, Managing Director of Nile Petroleum Corporation who will answers questions such as who the main players in South Sudan are, update on licensing rounds and pipeline to Kenya as well as enormous investment opportunities.
Senior representatives from Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan will also discuss the Lamu Port- South Sudan Ethiopia Transport Corridor (LAPSSET) project and the opportunities it will bring to the region in terms of infrastructure, trade and regional economic integration.
The LAPSSET project proposes to foster transport linkages between Kenya, Southern Sudan and Ethiopia, promote regional socio-economic development along the transport corridor especially in the Northern, Eastern and North -Eastern parts of Kenya, and enhance cross border trade between the three nations.
East Africa Oil & Gas Conference is supported by Ethiopia's Ministry of Mines, Ministry for Energy & Minerals, Tanzania, National Oil Corporation, Kenya, Mozambique's ENH (National Oil Company of Mozambique), South Sudan's Nile Petroleum Corporation as well as Petromoc and is expected to bring together more than 300 top executives, decision-makers and leaders in the field from countries around the region and internationally.
