DynCorp International Awarded Three Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) Task Orders
DynCorp International was recently awarded three Air Force AFACP task orders to aid the Air Force at the U.S. Air Force Academy, United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan.
- (1888PressRelease) August 01, 2012 - DynCorp International (DI)was awarded three new task orders by the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III (AFCAP) and the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron.

The specifics on the three wins include:
Awarded March 7th, DI will support the U.S. Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, CO., by expanding efforts of the existing local fire department on base. This task order award has a 196-day base period and a total value of $407,546.
Awarded May 10th, DI was awarded the task order to provide maintenance, repair and limited minor construction of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems in various base facilities in the United Arab Emirates which are actively supporting the Air Force. DI was the current contractor of this task order which has a base period of one year with two, one year options. If all options are exercised, the total value for this task order is $2.3 million.
Awarded June 22nd, to begin in August, DI was awarded the task order to provide vehicle maintenance and materiel control support to the Air Force in Afghanistan. It has a based period of one year with two, one year option and if all options are exercised, has a value of $10.5 million.
AFCAP provides worldwide on-call support for disaster response, contingency deployment, and military operations other than war.It is a 10-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to support the U.S. Air Force on an as-needed basis.
