Dunks for Diapers at OCU Women's Basketball
Lilyfield Christian Adoption and Foster Care holds diaper drive with the Oklahoma Christian University Women's Basketball Team to benefit foster children.
- (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2012 - The Oklahoma Christian Women's Basketball team will hold a diaper drive for Lilyfield Christian Adoption and Foster Care at their upcoming game on December 6th at 6 p.m. The game, versus Mid - America Christian University, will be held at the Eagles' Nest on the campus of Oklahoma Christian in Edmond.
Anyone bringing diapers wipes or new baby items for babies' age 0-24 will gain free admission to the game.
"This will allow us to give foster families much needed necessities when they receive placement of a foster child. Often placements happen with little notice and the child may come into a foster home with nothing but the clothes they are wearing," said Holly Towers, Executive Director of Lilyfield Christian Adoption and Foster Care.
A table in the lobby will be available with representatives from Lilyfield to help you learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a foster child or to make monetary donations.
We are also happy to share information about our adoption programs. Special thanks to Coach Stephanie Findley for coordinating this effort. Please join us on December 6th at the OC Women's Basketball Game.
